Unique ASA Norway is the market leader in Scandinavia in the area of administration software. As a part of its business expansion strategy, different branches have been founded throughout Europe. One of them was Unique (Deutschland) GmbH which was established in 1988. A change in strategy led to a Management-buy-out in the German branch in 1997(Mbo).
Today, Unique (Deutschland) GmbH is a well known Softwarehouse with 4 business areas: BI, Web-Application, Solutions and Tools. Due to the use and marketing of Unique Concept, a 4GL programming language, Unique is maintaining a friendly partnership to it's former main branch, which nowadays is a part of the Visma ASA group.
A further relationship with Norway exists through the partnership with the company Strong AS. The centre of the partnership is the combined distribution and further development of the Web-Content-Management-Systems (WCMS) Net-Blast. A great success was for example the selling of the very flexible and very capable systems to the dealer organization of VW AG.
As part of it's extension of independence, next to their traditional relations Unique can count customers and partners from all parts of Germany and parts of Europe amongst their circle of contacts.
