Victoria Inns offers 10 or 20 year fully repairing and insuring leases which are assignable after two years. The rent, which is annually linked to RPI is then reviewed every 5 years. There is a full tie, although we usually allow Wines, Spirits and Minerals to be purchased Free of Tie under a side agreement. Due to our enhanced purchasing power we are able to offer substantial off-invoice discounts on draught products - these currently can be as much as £80 per barrel and represent one of the most generous schemes in the market today.

Taking on a leased pub is a major step and it is important that all aspects of the business have been considered. It is strongly recommended that sound professional advice is taken before a commitment to take a pub. Solicitors, accountants, brokers and valuers should all be conversant and experienced in dealing with licensed properties. If funding is required it is important that the bank is fully aware of requirements not only to acquire the business and working capital needs, but to assist in any development plans for the future.
